The Speech House Hotel is the ideal venue for your next business meeting, team building away day, function or event.

The hotel can accommodate meeting and event delegates for residential stays, with 35 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The hotel has impressive modern meeting and event facilities for residential and day delegates with four meeting and event spaces available to hire.

A projector and flip chart is available to hire for meetings and event bookings.

The hotel has the unique Speech House field located directly next to the hotel with access from the car park. This 15 acre field can be hired alongside the hotel meeting and function rooms to host outdoor team building activities and events. In addition, the forest adjacent to the Speech House field, provides opportunities for running, walking and cycling as team meeting and away day activities.

The hotel has excellent dining facilities with a bar and two restaurants. We can offer a wide range of formal and buffet catering options for corporate functions and events.

There is also a car park on site with two EV charging point for hotel guests.

The Pavilion Meeting Complex

Pavillion

The Pavilion is a self-contained meeting facility overlooking the Speech House field with a large meeting room with projector, flip chart, kitchen and toilet. For meeting delegate’s convenience, there is direct access from the car park. The Pavilion can accommodate up to 40 theatre and 20 boardroom delegates.  It has three syndicate rooms leading off from the main meeting room.

The Foresters Meeting Room

The Foresters can be used as a meeting or smaller function room in the main house and is more traditional in style with high ceilings and beams. It can accommodate up to 40 theatre and 20 boardroom delegates.

The Edwin Tauber Function Suite

Our modern, purpose-built Edwin Tauber Suite has its own full-equipped kitchen, private bar and seating area, and space for up to 200 guests. It is an impressive space for a corporate event or function. It has direct access from the car park and doors that open out onto a small garden area.
