The hotel caters perfectly for small to medium sized groups wishing to be based in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean.
With 35 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, half of which are in the historic main house, the hotel provides a wonderful mix of traditional period character combined with modern day facilities.
There are several dining options – from the informal Orangery to enjoy a tasty lunch or traditional Afternoon Tea, to the AA Rosette à la carte fine-dining restaurant set in the historic Verderers’ Court Room. The hotel has a cosy bar area and pretty garden for drinks and summer alfresco lunches.
The hotel is child and dog friendly. We have a large car park with two EV charging points for guests.
Due to our central location and facilities, we appeal to vintage car clubs, motorcycle touring, walkers, nature and history groups, and parties planning a reunion.
We have several function rooms which are suitable for private dining or larger groups, such as our Edwin Tauber Suite, a purpose-built modern function suite with separate bar and kitchen which can accommodate up to 200 people.
