The Speech House Chrystal Wedding package has everything you need for you perfect day. This includes for 60 guests during late afternoon for the wedding ceremony, welcome drinks and canapes.
After you can have up to 200 guests in the evening with the use of the marquee. A toast of wine to the newly married couple and a delicious evening buffet. To finish your perfect day the house DJ will supply the evening entertainment all at a inclusive price of £2700.

The Speech House Hotel is ideal if you are looking for a country wedding venue in Gloucestershire.
Whether it's a small family affair or a grand social occasion, we feel that the Speech House Hotel with its idyllic situation in the Royal Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, will make a superb Wedding venue for your special day.
Booking Details
All bookings are accepted in accordance with the following terms and conditions. No variance to these conditions is accepted or implied by any person or employee.
To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of £250 is required. All cheques for deposits and final balances should be made payable to "The Speech House Hotel".
Six months before your wedding the balance of the venue fee will become due for payment and is also non-refundable.
Final payment for food and drink as established at your planning meeting will be due for payment three weeks before the wedding. The final number of guests attending must be given to the hotel two weeks prior to the event. This figure or the number of guests on the day, whichever the greater, will be the basis on which the account will be reconciled.
Any additional costs incurred by the hotel will be charged for in full in the final balance statement after your day.
To comply with fire regulations we are unable to accept unprotected naked flames within the Speech House. Candles are acceptable if they are enclosed within a nonflammable container.

Cancellation Terms
Where there is a cancellation no refund will be made on payments already received. If the final invoice is not already settled a cancellation charge as per the following timescale will apply.
8 weeks prior = 25% of total estimated bill
6 weeks prior = 50% of total estimated bill
4 weeks prior = 75% of total estimated bill
2 weeks prior = 100% of total estimated bill
You are recommended to take some form of insurance to cover this eventuality.
We ate in the evening in the Orangery, adjacent to the bar, it has wonderful views over the field and on to the forest. The food was very pleasant and the locally brewed Speculation ale was very tasty.

Welcome Drinks from £3.10pp
Welcome drinks are to welcome you as a married couple and are served between your ceremony and wedding breakfast along with canapés. This period is usually around two hours as the main photography is done at the same time.

Wine from £12.50 Per bottle
Wine is usually served with the meal and kept topped up by our staff. We would normally allow two thirds of a bottle per person which is two to two and a half glasses each. We can also serve soft drinks for children or those who have to drive.

Bubbly from £17.90 per bottle
Toast wine is usually served at the end of the wedding breakfast ready for your speeches. We would expect to get around five glasses from a bottle.
Corkage
When bringing your own wine we make the following charges:
